I hate to put things together but they made it sound so easy. It took me an hour (I read, look it over, read some more then gulp then screw something in). Luckily it was a breeze to put it together -- they make it easy by taping all the screws, tools and items on a cardboard. You can't really lose anything unless you work at it. It took me an hour to put it together, my partner had to help a little with the spring. The bike itself is so sturdy, comfortable and wonderful, I'm in shock.
